Sunrise Hills Waterpark Policies, General Rules and Regulations

  1. Terms and conditions

When planning a visit to Sunrise Hills Waterpark, it is necessary that you know all about the general rules and policy of the Sunrise Hills Waterpark. Knowing them will ensure your safety and prepare you to have an enjoyable and safe experience. These rules and regulations are part of your ticket purchase agreement.

  1. Tickets policy
  • Tickets are non-refundable.
  • Tickets are valid for the specified date or dates only.
  • Guests are allowed through the correct ticket category.
  • Only tickets obtained directly through Sunrise Hills Waterpark website or ticket desks are valid.
  • Tickets holders must present their ticket at the admission desk to gain entrance to the park.
  • Admission staff may require ticket holders to present their photo ids.
  • Ticket entry is valid once a day. Guests who plan to leave the park and return must get approval before they leave the park.
  • In case of any circumstance that may cause management to close some parts of the park or the entire park, or evacuate guests, we have the right to act accordingly to what we see fit in terms of compensation.
  • Entry tickets are valid for the opening hours as we shall specify. We have the right to modify our opening hours without approval of the guests.
  • All tickets are subject to the guest code of conduct, ride limitations, such as height limits, weight limits etc.
  • By purchasing a ticket, guests agree to abide by the Sunrise Hills Waterpark policies, rules and regulations and are bound by them.
  1. Safety and health policies
  • General health

If you are prone to having seizures, have a heart disease, blood pressure problems, neck, back or joint problems, any other health issue, or if you are pregnant, kindly do not participate in any of Sunrise Hills Waterpark attractions.

  • Swimming ability

Participating in any of our water attractions requires a strong swimming ability. Weak swimmers should not test their abilities.

  • Running

Walk your way around. Running is the number one cause of accidents in waterparks.

  • Rough play

No diving, jumping from high places, pushing others, shoulder riding, dunking and other forms of rough play.

  • Slippery surfaces

Due to the nature of the park, slippery and wet surfaces are common everywhere in the park. For your own safety, take notice of not slipping and injuring yourself.

  • Dress for safety

The wrong swimwear poses safety and health concerns. Buttons, spikes, zips, and loose fabrics could injure guests.

  • Fenced areas

No sitting on or around fences or crossing over them.

  • Hands free

Do not keep any items in pockets while on any of our attractions. Electronic devices and related accessories are not permitted on any ride.  

  • Go-pro camera

Go-pro cameras with long or short handles are not allowed on our attractions, though they can be used in other areas of the park.  

  • Read, listen, and observe

Before getting on a ride, make sure that you read the ride’s instructions. Ask a lifeguard or staff member if you do not understand any rule. Make sure that you listen to verbal instructions by our staff and lifeguards. Observe and understand what you are getting yourself into. Make sure you have the ability to hold on to the tubes and the ability to swim in our attractions.

  • Chlorine exposure

Prolonged exposure to chlorinated water may cause irritation to those with sensitive skin, sensitive eyes or allergies. Avoid long exposures, and avoid opening your eyes under water.

  • Breath holding

Breath holding games are prohibited in the park as this is not a safe act. Breath holding games could lead to shallow water blackout (unconsciousness).

  1. Minors and guardians’ policy 
  • 13-year-olds and younger are not allowed into the park if unaccompanied by a responsible adult.
  • The following is every guardian’s responsibility;
    • Knowing children’s whereabouts at all times.
    • Children’s safety.
    • Making sure that children follow the Sunrise Hills Waterpark policies, rules, and regulations.
  1. Photography policy

 

  • Guests may take photos and videos in the park, but photos are to be used for personal use only. No commercial use of any kind is allowed without our written consent.
  • For security and operational reasons, once entering the park, guest grant us the right to film, record or photograph them on the park without payment or consideration.
  • No cameras to be used in the locker rooms for any reason.
  • Mobiles, cameras, and their accessories are not allowed into the rides or pools except with an appropriate/approved water proof phone/camera pouch which you can purchase at our retail store. Guests are responsible for their equipment’ damages, and/or damages caused by it.
  1. Instruction policy

Following instructions is essential to everyone’s safety. Guests are obliged to follow both written and verbal instructions. Failure to do so gives us the right to deny entry, or eject guests without compensation.

  1. Operational flexibility policy
  • We have the right to stop any attraction for temporary maintenance or shutdowns.
  • Park policies, rules and regulations are subject to change without notice. The park may have additional rules which if not followed, may lead to ejection without refund.
  • We have the right to refuse entry or have a guest leave the park without refund or compensation in any of the following circumstances:
  • Not complying with the park’s policies, rules and regulations.
  • Any other reason which management deems necessary to ensure the safety of guests or employees and to ensure a peaceful and pleasant environment for guests.

The following items are not permitted inside the waterpark:

  • Food or beverages (except for infant food and water);
  • Coolers;
  • Pets and animals;
  • Radios;
  • Knives or weapons of any kind;
  • Toys, inflatables, rafts;
  • Glass items and glass bottles;
  • Scooters, roller-blades, skateboards, bicycles, electric vehicles, drones, remote controlled devices, laser pointers, shoes built in wheels;
  • Fireworks or other similar explosives and/or flammable objects;
  • Spray, paint, and markers;
  • Any illegal substance.
  1. Prohibited activities  
  • Selling vouchers, promoting businesses or any other commercial activities.
  • Playing music or other media on a loud speaker.
  • Performing for crowds (dance, tricks, performances etc.)
  • Giving speeches or presentations.
  • Engaging in political or religious rally.
  • Engaging in fights and scuffles.
  • Causing damages which leads to both ejection and cost of damage accountability.
  1. Guest code of conduct
  • The pool management has the authority to implement and enforce rules that are more stringent or that supplement those listed herein based on the pool environment for your safety. Parents or guardians are responsible for the supervision of their children and wards.
  • All bags, strollers and other personal items are subject to inspection. We are not responsible for damage or loss of vehicle including articles left in the vehicle.
  • we are not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen property and personal items. Guests are encouraged to use on-site lockers to store personal items. Please do not leave valuables unattended and unsecured within the waterpark.
  • Guests must obey all posted instructions and verbal instructions given by park employees.
  • Proper swimwear is required to enter all pools or slides.
  • No food or drinks allowed in or near the pool.
  • Diaper aged children must wear swim diapers or plastic diaper covers.
  • We maintain a healthy environment. Smoking is prohibited except for designated areas. E-cigarettes/vapes are treated the same
  • Threatening, abusing, annoying, or invading the privacy of any person inside the park is not allowed. Failure to behave appropriately will result in ejecting the person of any age without any type of compensation.
  • We prohibit harassment of any kind, especially sexual harassment, and will take appropriate and immediate action in response to complaints or knowledge of a violation of this policy. We have the right to eject accused violators without compensation and notify authorities of the complaints.
  • Sunrise Hills Waterpark is a family-friendly facility. Guest shall not engage in fights and scuffles or use profanity, abusive language, offensive symbols or gestures towards other guests or staff. Guests who do so may be ejected from the park without a refund.
  • Queue jumping is not allowed. Guests who choose to leave a line may not return to the same spot and must re-enter at the end of the line. Guests are not allowed to save spots for others.
  • We hold a high standard of pools and facilities sanitation and hold others socially responsible for better waste management behaviour. Guests are strongly encouraged to place their waste directly in bins. We enforce a strict no food, beverages, or waste in pool/rides. Failure to follow these rules may lead to a warning or ejection.
  • There are designated sitting areas. Reserving seats or tables is not allowed. All furniture is for who utilised them first on a first arrival basis. Sitting in fenced areas, landscaped areas, high traffic areas is not allowed. Littering, damaging, or leaving personal items in landscaped areas is not permitted.
  • Sunrise Hills Waterpark is a drug free park. Drugs are not permitted in or around the park
  • Persons appearing as impaired by alcohol or drugs will not be permitted into the waterpark.
  • We reserve the right to refuse admission or ask you to leave the park without any refund if you do not comply with these rules.
  1. Acceptance of policies, rules and regulation
  • This sunrise hills policies, rules and regulations is an agreement between a guest who obtains a ticket from our attractions and Sunrise Hills Waterpark. This agreement contains warranty disclaimers and other provisions that limit our liability to you. Please read these terms and conditions carefully and in their entirety, as using and accessing our waterpark facility constitute acceptances of these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to be bound to each and every term and condition set forth herein, please do not use our waterpark facility.
  • Except as otherwise noted, this agreement constitutes the entire and only agreement between guests and Sunrise Hills Waterpark and supersedes all other agreements, representations, warranties, and understandings with respect to our services.
  • In no event will Sunrise Hills Waterpark limited or its directors, employees, or agents be liable to guests or any third person for any indirect, consequential, exemplary, incidental, special, or punitive damages, including for any loss of life or property, lost profits or lost data arising from your use of our website, waterpark facility, content, and services, even if we are aware or have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Notwithstanding anything to the contrary contained herein, our liability to you for any cause whatsoever, and regardless of the form of the action, will at all times be limited to the amount paid, if any, by you to us for the service accessed just prior to the event giving rise to the liability.
